Heather Rooks (a.k.a. The Peoria Mom) joined our broadcast to discuss the controversies overtaking Peoria Unified School District. When the Centennial High School police report revealed mandatory reporting laws were violated, Heather used her First Amendment right to request an independent, third-party investigation. Other school board members accused her of political grandstanding and started their own media campaign after they voted to remove Heather as board president.1
