Caleb Collier and I met during our time at Turning Point USA, where we delivered a presentation encouraging Christians to join the fight in protecting K-12 students from harmful ideologies.
This “reunion episode” reminded us of why we got involved in defending the Constitutional rights of everyday citizens. Caleb and I share a passion for truth, and we believe parents are the governing authority over their children’s education.
Most American families utilize public schools. Of course, government assistance may be necessary when resources are scarce. However, increased cases of physical and sexual abuse, low proficiency scores, and out-of-control spending in public schools should make every parent reconsider their options. Government institutions are rapidly becoming the worst learning environment for vulnerable children.
