All K-12 funding sources deserve a deep dive. We barely scratched the surface discussing the sources that impact everyday citizens in a real way. Bonds and overrides have kept government schools afloat for decades. If it’s on the ballot, administrators and board members expect taxpayers to comply without scrutiny or question. Maybe it’s time we stop voting to approve these measures.
